We had an exciting month of November as we filled up our Thankful Tree leading up to celebrating Thanksgiving. What we did was each morning we would write something that we are thankful for on a paper leaf and put it on our tree in order to remind us that we have a lot to be thankful for. This was a new idea that we came across on this website

It was a lot of fun with the kids and it really helped to engage our minds and teach our hearts to be thankful. I am hoping to do it again next November and who knows it may become a family tradition. When Thanksgiving Day came we had a delicious pancake breakfast at church and then joined together with our family for dinner. What a great day it was:) Our hearts overflow with thankfulness to God for His immeasurable gifts!
