Schweitzer's Summer 2012

What a wonderful God given summer it has been!  This summer Mark was given a Sabbatical (an extended time for rest and refreshment) by New Life Baptist church.  What an incredible blessing!!!  We are so thankful for our church family and their thoughtfulness!  The love of Christ genuinely radiates through them.

Our summer has been filled with exciting times together as a family enjoying the beach, traveling up to VA to visit with family and many more memorable times.  Here's a little taste of our summer:

Matthias' 1st Birthday

It's amazing how time goes by when you are having fun.  We cannot believe that our third little man has turned one on June 27, 2012.  What a blessing this year has been and oh how we look forward to the many years to come with him!  We celebrate on three different occasions...one just as a family at home, two with friends and family at a park and three up in VA with family.  Here are some snapshots of the wonderful times we shared together:

The Boys Room

It was time...Luke was climbing into Jonathan's crib.  So it finally worked out by the grace of God. A friend of ours, Jordan Rodriguez and Mark skillfully put together the boys new beds. So,at the beginning of May, our 2 year old twins Jonathan and Luke moved out of their cribs and into beds.  What a time of transition!  Just imagine having a sleepover with your best friend every night.  Endless wresting, riding the bed rails like a horse, taking their pajamas off,  abounding laughter and conversations.  Let's just say it's a lot of fun:)  Then in June we moved our 1 year old son, Matthias into his crib in the room with them. Once again and even more so, let us say it's an exciting and fun time!  Not without it's many challenges of course and a lot of prayer but overall the transition has and is going well.
