Growing Up So Fast

It's hard to believe that the boys are a little over 8 months now...wow, they are growing up so fast. It's been quite exciting in the Schweitzer home these past few months. All we can say is TEETHING...TEETHING AND MORE TEETHING. Jonathan now has four teeth. Luke has six with two more coming. We've decided that on there first birthday instead of baking a cake for them we'll just give them steak and potatoes :) Other exciting happenings are that the boys are beginning to say Mama and Dada and they are trying to crawl. Jonathan is sitting on his own and Luke takes pride in standing up. What handsome little men the Lord has given us. We look forward to what is to come!

July 4th

Jonathan and Luke celebrated their first July 4th this year. Gladly declaring that they were born
in the U.S.A.

Summer Happenings

The Summer is here and so our calendar is full of exciting events with our youth at New Life Baptist Church. First up...On June 26 thru July 3, Mark and 6 chaperons along with 35 teenagers went on a mission trip to Suwanee, GA. There they devoted their days to helping a new church get started. That week, they reached out to the community through doing a Vacation Bible School as well as going door to door sharing the Gospel with people and letting them know that there was a church in the area. Their last day of the trip was enjoyed at Six Flags Over GA. It was an excellent trip! Here are some links to recap the trip:

More to come this summer...

Mother's Day and Father's Day

We enjoyed our first Mother's Day and Father's Day this year! On Mother's Day we brought the boys forward in front of the church to make a family commitment to raise them in a way that honors God. Luke was all smiles and Jonathan was calmly sleeping. It was a very special day for us all! On Father's Day we went out to lunch and the boys spent some quality time playing and reading with Daddy. What a blessing family is!!!
