What a Day! (part two)

What a Day! (part one)

What a fun time we have together! On Mondays (Mark's day off) we usually try to spend part of the day at a park where Jonathan and Luke love running everywhere and playing on the playground. Matthias enjoys a nice stroll with the help of his older brothers. Momma and Daddy delight in watching their boys (and running after them) as they have endless fun.

Vacation Bible College

Every summer Mark organizes two fun events for the youth at New Life Baptist Church. The first being the Mission Trip. This summer Mark was unable to go and lead the trip due to the timing of Matthias' arrival but thankfully Zack Pursell (summer intern) took the youth. Unfortunately currently, we don't have pictures to share with you but it was indeed a wonderful missions trip to Jacksonville, FL that Mark and Zack put together. It was a time in which many youth grew spiritually and many friendships were made as well. The second big event during the summer is VBC also known as Vacation Bible College. This is a great week where the youth and their families gather for dinner, enjoy live worship music, hear from guest speakers and enjoy exciting games. Here are a few pictures from that week.

Twin Happenings

Oh how fast our children grow up. It's hard to believe Jonathan and Luke are almost 2yrs old. They are so different in their wonderful personalities and yet their relationship with one another is inseparable. Both are full of energy as they love running all over the house as they chase one another or play chicken down the hall. Jonathan has a strong leading character and voice as well :) He likes to help Momma care for baby Matthias and enjoys guiding Luke during their playtime...sharing, putting stuff away and consoling his brother when necessary. Luke has a fun imaginative character. He enjoys anything that involves laughter or exploring. Many a times when Jonathan and Luke are supposed to be sleeping, they are awake as Luke is making Jonathan laugh. They love being together. When timeout happens for one of them it seems to be as if both are experiencing it. Over all what a joy twins are and what a sweet gift from God family is!
