Jonathan's First Haircut

So the time has finally come...on September 15th, Jonathan had his first haircut. The mullet look is no longer. While he has lost his redneck appeal and his flowing golden locks that blew in the breeze...he is one handsome dude!

What are Jonathan and Luke up to these days?

Jonathan and Luke are full of energy running across the house, playing with their toys, wrestling with one another and enjoying talking all the time. Fun times every day!
Here is a link to watch a recording Aunt Jessica took of the boys:

As well as some fun home videos too...

A Day at the Zoo

Over Labor Day weekend Miami Metro Zoo was having a $5 day entrance fee special. So our family and friends of ours (Matt, Erika and their son Levi) enjoyed spending a day at the zoo. It was a very hot day but overall a fun day together!

Matthias at Two Months

At Matthias' two month doctors visit he weighed 11lbs 12oz and was 24in tall. His still has brown hair and lots of it and his eyes are a light blueish gray color. Presently he enjoys smiling, cooing and sticking his tongue out. His favorite toy is the playmat as he like to interact with the hanging toys. Bath time is also a thrill for him. Overall he is doing well and we love our new little man!

What a Day! (part two)

What a Day! (part one)

What a fun time we have together! On Mondays (Mark's day off) we usually try to spend part of the day at a park where Jonathan and Luke love running everywhere and playing on the playground. Matthias enjoys a nice stroll with the help of his older brothers. Momma and Daddy delight in watching their boys (and running after them) as they have endless fun.

Vacation Bible College

Every summer Mark organizes two fun events for the youth at New Life Baptist Church. The first being the Mission Trip. This summer Mark was unable to go and lead the trip due to the timing of Matthias' arrival but thankfully Zack Pursell (summer intern) took the youth. Unfortunately currently, we don't have pictures to share with you but it was indeed a wonderful missions trip to Jacksonville, FL that Mark and Zack put together. It was a time in which many youth grew spiritually and many friendships were made as well. The second big event during the summer is VBC also known as Vacation Bible College. This is a great week where the youth and their families gather for dinner, enjoy live worship music, hear from guest speakers and enjoy exciting games. Here are a few pictures from that week.
