Time with Family (part 1)

Last week we headed up to Virginia for Rebecca's graduation. We flew out from Tampa, FL so we were able to take some time and visit with Kristin's family (Uncle Mark, Aunt Deb, Jennifer and Jason).

Rebecca's Graduation

On May 16 of 2010, Mark's sister Rebecca graduated from William and Mary with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Education (Cum Laude!). Congratulations to our wonderful Sister and Aunt!

Our New Favorite Thing

Just the other day we added a door jumper to our arsenal of baby gear. It is a hit! Jonathan jumps until he falls asleep if we let him and Luke enjoys lounging upright where he can see all that's going on. They are both becoming increasing expressive, Luke with his "kissy face" and Jonathan with his outside voice.

Our Local Gator

Eventful sightings of an alligator in the lake behind our home have made South Florida life extremely authentic. The Wildlife Authorities are supposedly trying to capture and relocate this guy, but as of yet he seems to have evaded them. So, to the great disappointment of our boys, we have banned swimming in the lake for the time.

Introducing Rice Cereal

It was an exciting time in the Schweitzer home as we introduced Jonathan and Luke to rice cereal for the first time. The boys didn't know what to do with the cereal once it was placed in their mouths. After many tears of confusion as to what in the world are you feeding me, Jonathan has taken to eating it quite well...so well that he doesn't like to have to wait in between spoonfuls. Luke on the other hand is getting use to eating it but likes to play with it on his tongue more so than swallowing it. It's our evening entertainment as a family!

Twins at 4 Months

At the boys 4 month appointment, Jonathan weighed just under 14 lbs and was 26 inches tall. Luke weighed 13 lbs and was 25 inches tall. Both are doing well. They are enjoying sitting in the bumbo seat to practice sitting up on their own. Luke finds joy in sticking his tongue out and Jonathan is turning over every moment he can.
